I have been using NZBGET and Sonarr together for 2 years never had an issue. the last few months anything i download will be sorted wrong and everything added to the file makes it a mess.
so i have sonar put nzb ready for nzbget into folder A, then nzbget will grab it and download and post process it into folder B which normally goes to my tv folder folder B which is set up like this (folder B) - (folder tv show name) - (season 1,2,3 ect) (videos renamed TVshow s01e01ect)
but recently anything i download will be added to the right folder but not to the right sub folders. example is this -
(folder B) - opened looks like this tv show 1,tv show 1 s01e02, tv show 2,tv show 2 s01e04 tv show 3 ect, but instead of going into the right tv show folder and season sub folder. i cannot figure this out i have tried letting both nzbget and sonarr mange different things to no avail. please help as its making my folder messy and also all the metadata like picture of season and html files are now being dumped into the tv show 1 folders.
NZBGet should only do the download/par2/unpack,
The rest should Sonarr do.
In settings/mediamanagement you can tell Sonarr how the Series folder should look.
thanks for the reply, i think thats how it is. nzbget to sonarr as you said. its been fine for year and a half. i was thinking maybe the kids hit or changed a setting. just cant seem to figure out whats changed
so this is what my folder looks like now, tv shows have a main original folder. where theres a season sub folder. but now each new downloaded creates a new folder. hope this makes sense

Looking at your second screenshot it looks like you let NZBGet download in to the final folder location what you shouldn’t do.
Make a separate download folder and a final destination folder.
so nzb download is the folder with all the seasons and tv show in,
nzbget is the folder for all nzbget activites
nzbgetsonar is where all the dropped files from sonar goes and gets queued from sonar to get. cannot see anything wrong with this. Hoping there is hahaha

that’s wrong.
Make sure that nzbget downloads in a folder that Sonarr isn’t using as final destination.
In Sonarr you set the Finall Destination for all the Episodes,
Sonarr will put it in the right folders.
This is how it looks in NZBGet
All download will goto in to “D:\ServerFolders\UseNet-Complete”
Make ure you make a Category named “tv”
In Sonarr the NZBget setting will look like this, see the Category name must be the same.
