Looks like a proxy running on your system because the requests are going to something on localhost, which isn’t part of Sonarr.

checked browsers cant find anything
its a a shame think im going to have to give up on sonar

Take a look at Updates and New Show Failure: Unable to connect to the remote server

It looks like the same issue and like you said it works on other computers.

thanks markus

it does it is this pc but id like to fix it rather than reinstall and that post is prity much the problem iv in countered it a shame they dint find a solution other than reinstalling sabnzb and everything is working fine .net is up to date
I can install sickberd and sick rage without problem but i really would rather use sonar

have you any ideas please how to fix rather than a re install

i originally assumed that sonar was trying to connect locally and port was blocked but i see now from what your saying something is redirecting it instead to local when it should not

iv run malware bites and few others and nothing there does not seem any browser hijacking or anything
results below look normal ?
AutoConfigProxy REG_SZ wininet.dll
MigrateProxy REG_DWORD 0x1
ProxyEnable REG_DWORD 0x0
ProxyOverride REG_SZ <-loopback>;*.local

Current WinHTTP proxy settings:

Direct access (no proxy server).

iv already checked proxy setting in browsers it is rather odd

What’s your BIND address in settings (should be ‘*’). Port 57657 (should be random # every time it makes an outbound connection) looks like a dynamic egress [outbound] port that’s trying to connect to trakt and failing:

“4-12-17 23:50:14.7|Warn|TraktProxy|Unable to connect to the remote server”

LJ

where do i find the bind address in setting

running it on a win7 64bit box

Settings–>General

Should be under start-up section (top). Unless it’s only in Dev (I’m running dev branch)?

LJ

must be as only port setting in there is the start up port

Yes, only in dev. Though it doesn’t matter, that controls which IP the web server listens on, it doesn’t change anything for outbound connections.

An outbound connection wouldn’t try to connect to/through localhost though.

The other thread has the results from the fresh install, which look the same to me, except for the ProxyOverride, but since its disabled it doesn’t matter.

well that’s IS a mystery iv lost count how many times I have uninstalled sonar and and cleaned everything left after uninstall

including config.xml and every thing from system

now believe it or not it threw up a config.xml error would not start out of no where
i deleted config.xml it started try to rstart

AND LOW AND BEHOLD IT SUDDENLY DECIDED TO WORK

like wtf

markus anyone any idear why as if that had been the cause why dint it work after the 20th clean uninstall and reboot~?

nope rebooted and its broke again
tried deleting config.xml again but it wont fix

thanks guys for help but think im going to give up been trying too figer it out for a week lol

Time for an OS reinstall

Got ya. Thought this was the port Sonarr was bound to for everything. If that was the case, bound to 127.0.0.1, for example, would block anything from working… obviously not though

I concur… unless there’s a proxy configured somewhere on his system but that appears to NOT be the case. Very strange.

@dragonlord6 - I’d still do another scan somewhere for a proxy setting in Internet Explorer. Double-check that stuff.

LJ

its really bugging me now
dread to re install because

1 not one thing else is not working or playing up on this main descktop

2 theres a rack server here that waiting to i can affors a good few drives for it thats getting the linux treatment and will go in the rack in the new hope cinarma iv remodeled in living room new high end speaker and amp new projector faulse wall and floor and decorating new projection screen

and the linux server is intended to act as nas storage and run usernet stuff sabnzb and torrents and sonar if it will run lol
3 i hate giving up theres got to be a answer

but spent so much cant afford the drives to in the new year

i have but above where it started working was real odd
i have firefox ie chrome and oprar installes and iv checked all of em

its driving me nuts lol
