Sonarr version (exact version): 4.0.19.2979

OS: Unraid Docker
Debug logs:
Description of issue:
i can not get it to stop downloading EXE files… i set Block in the custom format
\b(scr|exe|rar|password|unzip|malware)\b
so it block exes
i set each indexer
Fail On Download for Executables and Potential Dangerous
i set under Qualifty Profiles
English 0
Block Malware -1000
ive tried in Qbitorrent to tried the exclude filenames and without ive added
Run on Torrent Finished
bash -c 'find "%D" -type f \( -name "*.exe" -o -name "*.scr" -o -name "*.zip" \) -delete'
also sonarr keeps adding the same file back for download in qibtorrent and i noticed the file is in sonarr block list… but it still keeps adding it back in qibtorrent…
is there something i missing? i cant seem to stop radarr from download exe files or getting it to delete it from qibtorrent black list the file and dont re download the same black listed file but it does it anyways
what tricks do i need to do … i tried google AI for help and ran all these things prior but nothing works exes just keep coming back
That’s only going to stop releases with those words in the release name, which they’re not doing.
This is the correct way to do it.
Doing in in qbit will prevent Sonarr from filtering them out automatically.
@markus101 ah ok i read that so i also disabled it… i hoping it will stop the exes from coming…as i was getting annoyed 6 times the same exe i was getting frustrated what was going on
do you happen to know the correct way to get the exes to delete… like once the exe ‘completed’ sonarr doesnt tell qbitorrent to delete that malware.
i added
bash -c 'find "%D" -type f \( -name "*.exe" -o -name "*.scr" -o -name "*.zip" \) -delete'
on Run on Torrent finished
but it never deletes the file do you happen to know why it wont deleted once its set to “completed” or you cant and gotta delete exes manually it cant do it automaticlly
@markus101 it keeps happening file names under the block list in sonarr still get re added to qbitorrent i let it finish to completed… but a few hours later its re downloading the blocked file… i dont understand why it keeps coming back
is there a way since i know alot of these exes have the word KRAFT in it
is there a way to tell sonarr not to get any files with the word KRAFT in it? prior to downloading and going to block list?
Sonarr is either unable to see that it’s the same release and/or you may need to enable Reject Blocklisted Torrent Hashes While Grabbing on your indexer(s). It’s also possible it’s a different release with the same name.
Release Profiles, use Must Not Contain
ok ill give it a try i appreciate it… as its frustrating
