I just setup Sonarr a couple of days ago and I have the max file size for an hour show on all qualities set to 975MB. It keeps auto grabbing files that are beyond the size limit.
Example, tonights episode of Chicago Fire S04E13 it automatically grabbed an HDTV that was 1.3GB. I cancelled it through the queue and did a manual search, on the manual search it showed the release it grabbed as exceeding the file size limit and showed the SDTV release that was within the limit. I clicked to download the SDTV and it downloaded fine. It did this on a couple of other shows tonight as well. It’s not a season premier/finale so it should not be allowing the double size limit. Why is it doing this?
Here’s the size limits screenshot, and below is the history for the episode, it grabbed the 720p at 10:28 I canceled that and did a manual search and it showed a red ! next to that release and when I hovered it said exceeds file size limit and then I grabbed the SDTV release manually at 10:32. Also the manual search screen.
It also just grabbed a 1080p release of super girl 1x12 that was almost 2Gb when it already has a 720p release that is within the file limit restrictions
It happened again, grabbed Lucifer 1x2 at 2.1GB and Chicago Fire 1x13 at 1.1GB. Most of the time it seems to be grabbing an initial file that is within the size limits and then upgrades it later to one well outside the size constraint.
