As seen here: https://torrentfreak.com/eztv-it-domain-compromised-by-scammers-150313/
It was updated to the new working .ch domain some time ago. And as I understand itâs moot anyway as their feed is not working.
@fanboy for a bit eztv dot ch site was available (without feed) but that domain is hijacked now and the eztv distribution group quit mentioned in the article linked above.
@d2877834rt5 We had a database migration over 4 months ago when eztv rss feed became unavailable, disabling the provider for everyone. We also cleared the default url, so anyone adding the provider wonât have a eztv url to use either.
However, ppl have been using this provider with showrss.info (using a url hack), which means we canât just blindly tear it out until we get the generic torrentrss ready for merge.
Iâll update the wiki to remove the website link though, no point in sending any traffic there.
Ah. The original article linked in the OP was from March and made no mention that .ch was also compromised. Here a more recent article from yesterday that explains things:
Youâre right, I blindly assumed d2rt5 was linking to that hostile takeover article.
Cool, but what about adding RARBG? Iâve asked on Reddit and the consensus seems to be that this is now âthe best free sourceâ.
No rss feed or api afaik. ShowRSS might, but I did vaguely mention the Generic Torrent Rss indexer, didnât I?
(And it may be unintentionally, but piggybacking a feature request on âeztv is hackedâ is a bit bad form)
That wasnât how I intended it I mainly used EZTV to grab my shows, I didnât know any other alternative. When I asked on Reddit they recommended RARBG but I cannot add that on Sonarr.
API does exist (see Github issue link below)
Best to use the âjson_extendedâ version of it. Also, sending an email to the support rarbg, will get you in touch with the API dev Theyâre extremely willing to help integrate, and even comment on issues at Github.
As requested, I created a feature request: https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/issues/555
