Episode Not Downloading Despite Match

Sonarr version (exact version): 3.0.10.1567
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 6.12.0.182
OS: Ubuntu 22.04
Debug logs: Ubuntu Pastebin
Description of issue:
Episode not downloading despite match showing up on manual search.

I have an episode that is not downloading despite the search showing there are matching releases without an red stop sign with exclamation point. I can manually download them but not sure why they aren’t picking up automatically.

SONARR_Calendar

Most likely because Sonarr never saw them. on the RSS feed. You’re using two free torrent trackers which have limited results for newly posted items and a number of the results Sonarr did see are rejected for different reasons. It’s also possible that Sonarr saw them, but they were rejected for lack of seeders or similar.

So this is all I found in the logs pertaining to that release. It seems like it does see the availability and accepts it. I’ve only ever used these trackers and it’s been working just fine until last night/this morning. Is there something else in the logs I can look for to find out? It had the same problem with a Grey’s Anatomy last night as well (in fact NOTHING downloaded last night and I manually downloaded everything except this to see if it would ever grab it). Does the program never go look again and require a manual download?

That’s part of the log for that particular item, it’s missing the end where it’s accepted or rejected though.

How Sonarr finds releases is covered in the FAQ. Sonarr will not automatically search for missing episodes, it monitors RSS feeds for them.

Ahh OK so if Sonarr has an issue with a release and it misses it, it will never download that show so long as the releases I’m looking for aren’t put on the feed again? That is now understood and from the FAQ it seems this is to keep the interactions low from Sonarr.

I will just initiate manual searches when this happens, hopefully it’s not too often.

That’s correct, with a couple good indexers it’s pretty rare, but free public indexers it’s a bit more hit and miss.
