Episode missing from disk - network shares

Hi all
Loving Sonarr, BUT all my tv shows are stored over the network, so im having to use \server\tv shows\show name
Now this part ising the issue

the issue is that all my tv shows are complete all 200ish of them, but sonarr thinks that the episodes are missing.
i have it hooked into my plex media service as well.

any thoughs as the icon annoys me alot lol

Does Sonarr treat all the files for every series as missing?

A few things to check:

  • permissions
  • how they’re named
  • logs for errors hen rescanning an affected series

all tv shows are the same, as plex is very picky on formats.
windows shares r+w by default

and which log is needed?

yes sonarr treats all past episodes as missing and adds the yet to be aired icon next to ones coming up.
Sonarr accesses the shows from //COMPUTER/SHARE/TV SHOW/ or //NETWORKIP/SHARE/TV SHOW/

I have attached part of the log file, http://i.imgur.com/P30jCkB.png it does appear it cant find the shows on the disk but in the supplied image shows that is has on sonarr http://i.imgur.com/iIMHwFd.png

Best to post log files to hastebin instead of a screenshot, so we can copy paste lines.

Whats the series path in Sonarr set to for Big Bang Theory (since thats in the second screenshot)?

all of them are like this as like i said plex is very fussy

You need to enable debug logging, the current logs are Info.

How do you have Sonarr running? Service, Console or Tray?

I have just enabled Debug log level and im using Tray as service wont allow me to add network shares

i have noticed that it appears that sonarr does this

could this be the issue

i have tried removing the repeat of the name but sonarr says the root path has already been defined

You need to remove it from the import existing series dialog.

I see a couple different paths:

\\192.168.1.148\TV Series2\South Park (1997)\South Park
and
\\turtlenas01\admin\Lan downloads\TV Series\TV SERIES\S\Spartacus (2010)\Spartacus

Are they both correct?

The double folders should be okay if thats your actual structure, but I know when adding the series the year will be an issue, since Sonarr won’t find a series named South Park (1997).

Network shares should be fine as long as the account running Sonarr has access to the share, but regardless that is required.

What type of authentication is on the server? Is a Username and password required to access the share?

Yes they are 2 servers that the files are located on and yes its username & password but i have set the sonarr pc to remember username & password.

ok update i have fixed it

so basically i had to restart the server as i added the drives as network drives then re added them and now they are working, i just have to go through all of them.

by the looks of it using // causes issues with my config but using drive letter as a mounted seems to work
