Best start would be the wiki.

another page with a nice tutorial can be found here.

and another page found with several links to guides found on this forum

Thanks for the response however, both of those point to the same thing and that’s only a step by step to setup the basics which include setting up with Sabnzbd and NZBGet. I need specific instructions on how to setup Sonaar with “Download station”

Thanks,
WD

Most of the info can be found in the setup when adding a download client

as for the client settings i never had todo anything special for the download clients to let it work with Sonarr,
for the clients i use i only had to setup the Category and that was all.

What did you try your self and which point do you get stuck ?

I get the following error:

Unknown exception: HTTP request failed: [403:Forbidden] [GET] at [http://localhost:5000/webapi/query.cgi?api=SYNO.API.Info&version=1&method=query&query=SYNO.API.Auth%2CSYNO.DownloadStation.Task]

Ummm… DownloadStation is the built-in downloader of Synology, a different brand of NAS.

Yes I understand. I have a QNAP NAS TS-653A. Any clue what I need to do?

Use any other download client that runs on a QNAP and is supported by Sonarr?

Well they have Download station included.

QNAP Download Station is not supported at this time. It’d only be supported if someone implements and contributes it back to Sonarr.
