Does anyone use "Slave Machines" with Sonarr for Downloading?

Before I go down the coding rabbit hole to make changes to a sonarr branch, just wondering if anyone has done anything like this.

So, here is the setup I’m going for:

1 master machine with sonarr/radarr
5 Slave download VPS’s, all with identical folder structure
Each slave handles uploading to GCD itself when out in the finished folder.
I want sonarr to round robin each downloader. Has anyone done something like this?

Also , side note, it would not be possible for sonarr to handle renaming with this setup, correct?
