I don’t know why I can’t find this as a feature, maybe this should be in feature request.
I am coming from SickBeard and need the option to delete other files after moving/renaming the completed downloads.
ie. Files are downloaded to a complete folder. Sonarr renames the download and places it in tv shows under the show and season. But now I have all of the other files left in the complete folder. How do I automate these to be deleted?
Sonarr will do it if the torrent isn’t seeding.
What if we are using NZB’s with SABnzbd?
They should be removed automatically, in some cases the folder may not be deleted (if it fails to delete), but that shouldn’t happen with every download.
I will need to check logs I guess. There is nothing apparent stating there was an error. But it is happening with every download. I am left with the folder and the rar files along with any other nfo or image file. Right now it is no big deal, but as time goes on it will be frustrating to continually delete the un-needed files.
Set SAB to +Delete mode instead of +Extract. Sonarr won’t delete a folder that has a valid video file or a RAR file.

I found an error where it is not deleting due to finding rar files. I googled the exact error and came across this post…
I set my SABnzbd to process the +Delete script/option upon completion. According to this post, that should be the solution. We will see.
