4.0.20.3014 running in docker
Ubuntu 26.04
I have sonarr running in docker, along with all my other sevarr app on the same machine that I"m using as my download client. During initial set up for this computer I had to add cifs mounts so it could access my two UGreen NAS drives. well no matter what I would do the cifs mounts would never mount. It would always give me an error but after boot I could manually mount them with ‘mount -a’. With no other avenue avaliable for me to rememdy this issue I edited crontab to have esentually a sudo mount -a command be applied 10 seconds after start up.
How ever in that 10 seconds docker loads and boots(?) all the containers and by the time the containers are up and running the cifs mount still hasn’t been mounted so the container can’t look inside those mounts and the log shows and error for all the mounts as saying file/folder empty.
how would I go about fixing this? I have tried to shorten the ammount of time crontab waits to run the mount command and it seems 10 seconds is the lowest I can go and have it work. At 9 seconds its random, at least to me, if it works and at 8 its ever worse and at 7 it doesn’t work at all.
I was thinking about putting docker on a delayed deployment but when I was installing docker I installed both the command line version and the gui docker desktop and with out the desktop gui running the docker command line won’t work and none of my containers will boot. So I"i totaly unsure of how to try and fix that as an option.
