Dealing with split episodes

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.3953
OS: Windows 10

There was recently an ‘extended’ episode in a show I’m watching, and tvdb etc. lists it as one single episode but I’ve only seen it uploaded as two separate files (labelled A/B, Part 1/Part 2). However sonarr doesn’t seem to be handling this and replaces whichever got added first.

Is there a special way to name the episodes so that the other doesn’t get deleted? Or is this a feature that isn’t implemented?

Split episodes are not supported and we have no plans to do so. Merging them into a single file is the only way for Sonarr to manage them as a single file, though upgrades won’t happen automatically.

Fair enough, merging files isn’t too much hassle anyway.
