Been doing some tests and for this show the release is there but missing hdtv and group name though the release is valid. It didn’t show up as unknown either. This seems to be a common issue on nZEDb indexers, is there a way to make the regex less strict as an advanced option and it could guess the quality based on the size of the file?
Sonarr didn’t find: the.comeback.s01e06
In a manual search Sonarr will still show results that it was unable to process, if it wasn’t there then it wasn’t returned by the indexer.
Sonarr will treat that as Unknown, we’re not going to guess the quality based on size.
That’s strange because I added the specific category 5080 that I found the release manually searching on the nZEDb site so that Sonarr would find it, yet it still wasn’t there. But you are saying that even if hdtv/pdtv and release group name are absent Sonarr should still return results?
I can give you more details if you like, the reason I thought it was a regex issue is because
the.comeback.s01e07.pdtv-lol was found on the indexer whereas the.comeback.s01e06 was not despite showing in the indexer’s category. Both releases were in the same category 5080.
Does it come back in the XML search results (you can get the full URL Sonarr hit from debug logs)?
I have debug enabled but don’t see any XML URLs, I feel like I looked everywhere (I restarted Sonarr afterwards to start fresh and still not seeing any URLs)
Its the URL for the indexer with all the search parameters, the content is XML.

Not seeing that at all in this area http://i.imgur.com/0kk22U3.png
Log file also doesn’t seem to update when I click update after I just do a manual or automatic search.
Its probably in another log (nzbdrone.0.txt) since the top of that log is processing results.
