I’m in the process of making the move from sick beard to Sonarr. I am performing the initial set up of Sonarr in the episode naming is it possible to set use the following naming convention {Season}.{Episode:00} - {Episode Title}. By default this is an invalid name convention. I have been using this naming convention since 1993 and currently have over 65,000 television episodes on my media server and would really like to keep the naming convention as i have grown quite accustom to it. Thanks
Sonarr can’t reliably parse it so it won’t let it be used, it might be something that we can support, but at the moment its not valid.
If you import existing series, does Sonarr actually detect the files?
Sonarr is indeed able to import the episodes… I should be able to create a script that rename the files after they have been moved. So alls good. Thanks.

Actually it seems Sonar is only partially detecting files. Sonarr correctly detects season 1 of 12 Monkeys (only season out at the moment) and the first season of 2 Broke Girls but none of the remaining 4 seasons of 2 Broke Girls. Even though file and naming structure are identical in each. in the case of 7 Days it matches none of the files despite the fact I have all three seasons in the same naming structure. Very odd indeed.
Going back to sickbeard until i can write my own app.
