Hi,
I’ve been a longtime user of SAB and SickBeard and have just moved over to NZBGet and Sonarr (as well as Headphones and Couchpotato), so I know how all this stuff works generally, and it’s just a lack of familiarity with Sonarr that’s getting me.
I understand it works differently to SickBeard, that’s fine. I know I have to do backlog searches manually, also fine.
Now, I have about 40 series in Sonarr, all pretty up to date (only set it up a few days ago). I manually asked it to grab episodes that I’d missed in the crossover, and it passed them to NZBGet fine, downloaded and post-processed with no problems…brilliant…all set.
Only this morning when I looked at it, the latest episodes of a few of my series shown over Wednesday, Thursday and last night (Friday) have not been snatched. I’ve snatched them all manually with no problems (via Sonarr).
I don’t use RSS feeds.
Is this normal behaviour? I can’t see anywhere that says, “Sonarr will search your indexers every x second/minutes/hours for the latest episodes”. Searching through the logs seems to indicate it’s not automatically searching at all for latest episodes, but all the relevant series/episodes have a monitored status. How often are they monitored?
Thanks for any help. If it’s easier to set up RSS then I’ll do that, but I’ve never needed to in 4 years of using NZBs. Indexers are Miatrix and SDoY (for my sins). Providers are Eweka and Astraweb European server block account.
