Hi,
Not sure if it has been mentioned already, but I could not find it. I love the option how when you delete a show you can have it delete the files off your disk. I noticed under Kodi connections there is an option there for clean library after update. This little button would be awesome to have as an option when you remove a show. Being able to delete the show out of sonarr, remove from disk (which it already does) but also then clean your library as well would be simply awesome lol.
Thanks,
Ryan
Ryan,
In the meantime, do you use watchdog in Kodi? I have a mysql database and have my server fire up kodi twice a day for five minutes to run watchdog, update and clean the library then shutdown 5 minutes later. Works fairly well (albeit not quite what you are looking for).
I have a similar setup. I also have a MySQL that runs on my qnap. I don’t use watchdog because Kodi is always running on my macmini. So when a show downloads sonarr updates Kodi. It’s really handy like when I want to get rid of a show there is option to clean disk. So just saves having to go to the Qnap and manually delete the show. So if the linked in how when a show downloads it updates Kodi. If you delete a show it also updates Kodi I personally think it’s a brilliant idea? Because I’m not always deleting shows. Will only delete if it’s average etc
It was my understanding that a full clean library is not required. I thought sonar would remove just that one show?
I do have watchdog so maybe that’s what’s doing it.
But if I delete something in sonarr then my kodi reflects that change almost immediately.
You need to do a full clean.
Yeah if you are running watchdog it will do it instantly. I did run the addon ages ago but it was causing former xbmc to crash. So I never went back even though I am sure it’s all good now. Thanks Markus
