I know this has been requested before but then there was no real specific use case for it, apart from saving milliseconds. I believe that I have found a use case for it, although I am open to being corrected if there is a better way.
- Give the insane costs of hard drives recently I was looking into using NZB streaming in Plex through eg Altmount.
- I don’t wish to move everything over to streamed files but just part of my collection.
- I believe that in order to choose whether to download the file locally or create a file for streaming I would need to choose between my usual indexer or eg Altmount setup as another indexer.
- Currently I would either have to manually switch each time between indexers by going into settings (a bit of a pain) or run two separate instances (one pointed at my usual indexer and one at Altmount or similar)
- If there was an option to be able to turn on selecting an indexer when adding a show, to allow me to choose whether to download the file or set it up as a streamed NZB file in Plex it would be great
- If there was also an option to select the indexer in a current TV show (ie switch to a NZB streamed file) and force an update that would be fantastic too.
