Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.3953
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS: Windows 10
((Debug logs)) (posted to hastebin or similar): None
Description of issue (if you think you’ve found a bug please include steps to reproduce):
Recently I switched from MySQL on Kodi to Emby plugin. When everything was imported, I noticed that the recently added list was all jumbled up. So I did some digging and found that the problem is the file creation date. I thought that Sonarr was supposed to handle that though. I think the issue is coming from me running Windows 10 (I have noticed so many security changes with network shares and file permissions since Windows 8), since it didn’t seem like an issue before. When I look at the files, the date modified has changed, but the creation date does not.
I have noticed this happening with manual rename, automatic scrape from Deluge, and automatic scrape from drone folder.
Steps to reproduce:
Set the creation/modified date on files to today
Move them into a season folder
Run Sonarr as Administrator
In settings, make sure “Change File Date” is set to UTC
Go to GUI and Rename Episodes in desired format
After successful rename, look at modified/creation date
