Can't start sonarr: Press enter to exit

Sonarr version (exact version): Latest I believe
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 5.10.0.140
OS: Ubuntu 16.04

Sonarr has been working great for me for many months with no problems, but I could not bring it up in my browser today which means that the service wasn’t running. I tried to start the service by entering the usual mono /opt/NzbDrone/NzbDrone.exe, but instead of the usual code that goes by, I just got “press enter to exit…” I then looked at all the log files, normal, trace and debug, and I noticed that there were no entries in them for the last couple days (it had been a while since I tried to log into sonarr because it usually just works). I tried restoring from the backup files but still the same result. I also tried purging both Sonarr and Mono and reinstalling them, but again I still get the same message. Any help would be appreciated.

In same boat. I run DietPi (Debian) and had an update for Mono but nothing for NZB. Next reboot it won’t start and continues to crash every 5 seconds.

It’s the new mono update. It broke Sonarr, Radarr and Jackett.

The question is how do we downgrade mono until a fix is available.
