Thanks for coming back and providing the update/fix (and glad it’s working for you!). Be interesting to see if it is something similar for other folks experiencing the same, where their config otherwise seems to be setup correctly but import is not working.
If so, might need to flag it up as a bug to set a hard upper timeout limit for these types of tasks.
As you are the OP, you should be able to choose your update as the Solution which will mark your thread as solved and possibly get more people to look at it, knowing that it was resolved.
