I am using a separate mac mini as my torrent downloader and using transmission. I can’t figure out how to get sonarr to move and rename them when done. Do they also have to be kept in the queue when done?
Setup a remote path mapping so Sonarr can see the files. They will be removed from Sonarr’s queue once they are moved.
Ok, found that option. Took some figuring out what exactly should go in the boxes. testing it now. Thanks.
so, it’s still not moving it.
here are my settings. no idea if they are correct?
this is in the logs after I run the task “Check For Finished Download”

What is shown in Activity (hover over the icon to see the error message).
Please Hastebin some trace logs so we can take a look, otherwise we can’t really help.
I posted a couple lines in an edit.
There is nothing in activity queue. I never saw it appear there. It was a manual search. It shows up in history and icon says “episode grabbed from Rarbg and sent to download client”
I always thought u were spelling pastebin wrong. never knew about hastebin.
hastebin link for log
Did you setup a label in Sonarr for transmission? I was thinking that you might be running into another issue, but this is different and you’re getting to torrent back.
yes, I have set it as “tv”
Since transmission uses paths for categories, your remove path mapping needs to include the tv
subfolder so you should map the remote path: /Users/derek/Downloads
to D:\macminilink
instead of using the remote path /Users/derek/Downloads/tv
.
ok, so i removed tv from the remote path. it shows activity now, but says there are no files. So I am wondering what the relationship between remote and local is? is it supposed to be a physical mapping? I guess that is the part that is lost on me. Is sonarr just trying to create a UNC path?
The path you set locally needs to point to the path on the remote system, Sonarr doesn’t create any mapping between them, it only translates the remote path to a local path to import.
ok, so knowing that, I mapped \macmini\derek\downloads to M:, when I go to add M:\ to the local path, it doesn’t show up, or if I add it manually, it says the path does not exist.
I noticed I was getting a 400 error in the console something about remotemapping/1, so for the hell of it I restarted Sonarr went back in and now no error with adding the M:\ path. Now going to try importing.
looks like all is well now. I had mapped the M:\ up to the tv folder, so changed it to the downloads folder since tv is appended and all is good now. Thanks for the help. I may try to add to the wiki for this.
I haven’t changed any thing and I am now getting these errors
Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: M:\tv\House.Of.Cards.2013.S01E11.WEBRip.x264-TRiC.mp4
Yet if I copy that path to explorer, it works fine.
I’m having the same issue. Going to disable torrents for a bit.
I went to move them myself this morning and getting this in windows. wonder if it has something to do with it? I know seeding is complete.
