Hello there.
One of my shows is Dragon Ball Super, and Sonar used to fetch its torrents via nyaa indexer.
From a month or so, it doesen’t work anymore: any automatic search results in
Indexers unavailable due to failures: Nyaa
I then deleted the indexer from settings and add it back, but the following message pops up:
Unable to connect to indexer. Indexer API call resulted in an unexpected StatusCode [Redirect]
By searching in the forum, this doesn’t seem to be a known issue.
Any idea?
Please post the full log to hastebin.

It’s saying connection timed out, possibly you were trying to connect when the actual nyaa site was down? Have you tried after visiting the nyaa.se site in a webbrowser to make sure they’re not being ddos’d or something at the time?
I’m getting a similar problem but a different cause; Indexer API call resulted in an unexpected StatusCode [Redirect] instead of timed out

Hello Nato.
The first time it happened, months ago, nyaa was actually down.
The last time I tried to perform an automatic search on the interested show, I made sure that nyaa was up and running.
The redirect is odd, if you use HTTPS do you have the same issue?
(I wonder if it’s because they are forcing HTTPS).

Thanks markus. Yes, it works using https; never thought about changing it.
Maybe this issue of mine could help others: https should be set as default protocol when Sonarr users add nyaa indexer.

Sorry to report - using https will only create a timeout:
Unable to connect to indexer: The request timed out
The default URL produces this error:
Unable to connect to indexer: Indexer API call resulted in an unexpected StatusCode [Redirect]
Timeout means Nyaa didn’t respond, if you’re using a VPN try without, nothing we can do from Sonarr’s end.
