Cannot find QNAP

Sonarr version 2.0.0.5322:
Mono version 5.18.1.0:
MacOS: Mojave 10.14.3
Debug logs: Fresh Install
Description of issue: I cannot for the life of me find my QNAP when trying to Select Path for adding a new show.

This is a fresh install of Sonarr and it starts up all fine and everything seems fine all except my problem above. I can see the NAS in my Mac mini finder which is where I have Sonarr installed as well as the mounted folders in the NAS. Am sure I have NAS settings right but not 100% as seems to be a problem somewhere, but wish I knew where.

No log file as nothing showing as can’t get anywhere.

Can anyone help me please as it’s doing my head in?

Did you map it to a local path or are you browsing it through the network? Sonarr will require it to be mapped to a local folder, something like: http://osxdaily.com/2009/09/24/access-and-mount-an-smb-share-via-command-line/

Hi and thanks for reply and NO I didn’t map it to cal path nor do I have any idea how to.
The link you provided doesn’t help as commands don’t work so not sure.
Being a QNAP am guessing it’s not classed as a windows share so not sure how to ‘map’ it.

“Windows” shares are cifs/SMB shares, originally in Windows, but supported on Linux and macOS as well.

Ok cool thank you and did some more digging and have now mapped it and have found the NAS finally in Sonarr, but did a test and it failed to move the downloaded file to the NAS.

Any ideas please or have I again got something set wrong?

Permissions is my best guess without seeing debug logs.

Thank you so much, you were right and I think it’s now all fixed finally.

Again thank you
