Cannot connect. Localhost 8989 issue, new install, logs attatched

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4409
OS: Win 7 Pro (fresh Install)
((Debug logs)): http://pastebin.com/cpdzU9LV , https://www.dropbox.com/s/9b6swwp5k7w3z29/Untitled.jpg?dl=0
Description of issue:
Trying to get Sonarr up and running on a fresh install of Win 7 pro. Get the error that an instance is already running when looking at the log (see pastebin). Had it running as a process and when looking in task manager I can see it in the process tab as stopped. Tried to restart the process or even kill it and the attached dropbox link shows the error I receive. It has never worked.

What I have done so far:
Restart computer multiple times
Reinstall Sonarr 4 times making sure it was a complete uninstall
Running as admin
Researched these forums for the localhost 8989 issue but none seem to have the same issue, at least solved.

Thanks for the help. Pretty sure it’s something simple I am missing.

Based on the logs it looks like the service started successfully and then NzbDrone.Console.exe was run afterwards.

Are you trying to run multiple instances?

  1. In Task Manager make sure the NzbDrone service is stopped and NzbDrone.exe and NzbDrone.Console.exe aren’t running (Under the Processes tab).
  2. Remove the NzbDrone service (you can use serviceuninstall.exe from C:\ProgramData\NzbDrone\bin)
  3. Reboot the computer
  4. Delete the log files
  5. Start Sonarr by running NzbDrone.Console.exe from C:\ProgramData\NzbDrone\bin
  6. Post the fresh log file

Not trying to run Multiple Instances. Would running it as a service then once installed using the Sonarr icon that is placed on the desktop to attpent to open the UI create that?

Thanks for the help.

Yes, though the 2nd instance would terminate and only open the browser instead.

Ahh there, it is, you’ll need to install .net 4.5 (maybe 4.6 as well, though having both won’t hurt).

fixed! Installed 4.5 and 4.6 just to be safe and starts right up.

Thanks for the help.
