Cannot add indexer (fresh install tried as well)

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.4753-2
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 5.0.0.100-1
OS: Arch Linux
((Debug logs)):
https://pastebin.com/Mwmk9Zjh

Description of issue:
I have the correct API key, it keeps saying “Testing failed” for the indexer.
Installed from scratch. Am able to add Sabnzbd API, add shows…
But no indexer

Directories are correctly CHOWNed, and systemd service file as well is edited to reflect the right user and paths to mono and nzbdrone as well as data folder.

That log doesn’t actually show you trying to add the indexer.

I did fresh install, set the log to debug. Then tried adding an indexer.
The web interface just says “Testing failed” when clicking Test.

Sounds to me like a problem on the UI side, check the browser dev console.

After a Daemon-reload and restart of Sonarr, then trying to add indexer:

Ok, will check Firefox console.

Here is firefox console info: https://pastebin.com/Sdr20eFQ
Seems like a timezone issue on my system?

Looks to me like one of your firefox extensions is broken. nzbfox

Thank you, investigating and trying Chromium out in the meanwhile.

Hmmm, so new install of chromium and still can’t add indexer.

Must be something with my system related to timezone?

From Chromium console:

What makes you think it’s ‘timezone’? A moment warning? That’s just a warning.

I think you need to explain your architecture and configuration. Based on the log you’re stripping out the IP addresses, which would only make sense if it’s a public IP.
But something is simply blocking the api calls. So it’s not just a simple browser talking directly to a local Sonarr install.

Ah, I installed a Win10 virtual machine, along with iptables, ebtables, firewalld and iproute2. Something in there must be the problem.

Just want to add that the problem was in fact the mono issue many people started reporting: https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/issues/1928
Editing the service file for systemd fixed the issues.
