General question regarding the “Allowed Hosts” field under “Settings/General”. I would like to simply define a subnet, but it appears I must use explicit IP addresses. Is there a way to use a subnet definition such as 192.168.1.0/24? I tried that syntax, and it did not work.
Sorry for the confusion. I completely misread that field description. I am so used to seeing IP addresses and subnets used as a client security feature that I guess I saw what I expected to see, not what was actually being described.
*** Solution: This field is an IP address or hostname you enter into a browser to access Sonarr, which is why you would not use an IP range, as that would make no sense. You can, however, use 0.0.0.0 as the IP address in this field if you do not wish to restrict the IP or hostname at all.
