Can Sonarr d/l NZBs

Can I set sonarr up to d/l nzbs automatically from nzbgeek or is it specifically for torrents?
I want to get 2 new series.

Sonarr does not download series, is the configured download clients that do that task (Transmission, deluge, nzbget, sabnzb, etc). Sonarr just grabs the torrent or nzb file and sends it to this clients in each case for download, when finished sonarr will put the file in your series folder

Sonarr works with both usenet and torrents, it was originally designed for usenet only. Torrent support was added some time ago.

For sonarr to grab your series you need two things:

  • Your series has to be available at the thetvdb.org

  • Your series has to be available as a download in your torrent/nzb indexer rss feed.

well everything got sorted now I wonder where I would set up a filter as to not d/l duplicates?

Sonarr only keeps one episode, doesn’t handle different qualities or different languages for the same episode. You’re probably experiencing episode quality upgrade. You have to set up a cut off in your quality profile. You can read more here
