Bulk Adding Existing Shows/NZBDrone & SABnzbd on different computers

Hey Guys,

After spending the past few weeks sanity checking all my TV Shows in SickBeard, i am finally ready to move to NZBdrone!

I think i have pretty much everything configured properly but since my TV Shows and NZBdrone are on a different machine than SABnzbd, i will know when it downloads the 1st episode!

So now i am ready to Import my TV Shows. They ALL have a tvshow.nfo, all the artwork and all episode metadata and they are named with the quality appended.

I have 1005 TV Shows.

On 14 different hard drives.

I put in the 1st root folder D:\TV Shows 01 and NZBdrone is asking me where to start, what quality to use and has an add button… I really don’t want to go through having to do 1005 shows one by one. Is there a way for me to bulk add all my shows with the same quality and start monitoring at season 1? I will eventually go through them and disable whatever i feel no longer needs to be monitored but i truly hope there is a way to do this… I am a magnificent test case and test user for NZBdrone because i probably am one of a handful of people here with that many shows :slight_smile: I want to help this magnificent program grow so please don’t send me back to SickBeard! :stuck_out_tongue:

OK i forgot to ask about the 2nd part of my title…

i have all my TV Shows and NZBdrone on a server called CNS-TVSERVER

SABnzbd is on CNS-FILESERVER and downloads to a mapped network drive A:~TV

CNS-TVSERVER has access to that same drive as A:~TV

This works perfectly with SickBeard. NZBdrone would not accept ANY folder on A:\

So how do i go about setting up a proper download folder for SAB with CDH and FDH and another folder for DroneFactory where everything would work? I have a remote path setting on NZBdrone set as

Host : 192.168.0.2
Remote Path : A:\DroneFactory
Local Path : \CNS-FILESERVER\Downloads\DroneFactory\

Is that right? If so, do i need to add another one for the folder where SAB downloads TV Shows? ie :

Host : 192.168.0.2
Remote Path : A:~TV
Local Path : \CNS-FILESERVER\Downloads~TV\

You either need to click every button or use your browser’s dev console + javascript to click them all for you, but drone may not detect the correct series (it uses the title of the folder to find the best match, not the metadata files), so manually adding serves as error checking. https://trello.com/c/WRJe2JOw/775-use-metadata-to-determine-series

You don’t need a mapping for drone factory, just set it to a path accessible from the machine running drone. You need one for the folder SAB downloads to, if the path isn’t accessible as returned by SAB on the machine running drone.
