Bug when whole folder is deleted

Sonarr is not picking up that files have been deleted when the whole folder is deleted. Doing a “Update Library” doesn’t solve it.

In Settings ▸ Media Management, Folders I have “Create empty series folders” set to No.
Show ABC has downloaded 9/9 episodes.
I then delete the folder ABC from my hard drive (not through Sonarr).
Sonarr never picks up on this and continues to say that 9/9 episodes exist.
It even continues to search for better version if the profile hasn’t been reached yet.

To “solve” the problem I turn on “Create empty series folders” and do an “Update Library” twice (first time it creates the folders but doesn’t realize it doesn’t contain episodes; the second time it then realizes there are no episodes).

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.3953
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows): 4.2.0
OS: OS X

Not a bug, it is expected behaviour, its the only way to effectively deal with remote mounts that are offline, checking if the root folder exists doesn’t work because the folder may still exist and Sonarr would treat all files as missing.

Hey Markus. Thanks a bunch for replying. Makes sense
