Hello,
I am testing Sonarr to download using torrents. I have this installed on a windows server 2012 VM and currently have deluge installed and while it picks up the torrent and downloads it then just sits there. I tried with moving the file to drone factory but this is a bit of a botch and the file does not then delete from drone factory.
Has anyone know if using a different downloader would help or is this a torrent wide issue?
My setup works like this. I have a server in a DC that runs Sonnar, Sabnzbd and deluge this has a mapped ftp drive to my NAS at home that I move the files to once downloaded. Any help setting up would be great. Thankyou.
I’m using Transmission (on Windows, so its unofficial) and it has been working very well for me. Which version of Deluge? We’ve had a few reports of Deluge not importing and it looks to be an issue with the path that its reporting (it used to work).
uTorrent is also an option if you can live with the ads/want to pay for Pro.
I think it was 1.3.6. I have removed it now. Adverts are not a problem as once I have it setup I should only be logging into this box for basic housekeeping and maintenance.
As I am building from scratch and Deluge seems to have issues I will scrap it and check out Transmission.
Just to update I have the same issue with utorrent. Once the download finishes it jus sits there seeding. I can only see Linux distros from Transmission, I may setup a Linux box though now and test it.
Googled for “transmission windows” and this is the first hit: http://sourceforge.net/projects/trqtw/
Make sure you configured a label and set it in Sonarr for the torrent client.
