Description of issue:

When trying to add “Battlestar Galactica (2003)” I receive the following notice:

“Title slug ‘battlestar-galactica’ is in use by series ‘Battlestar Galactica’”

I do have “Battlestar Galactica (1978)” previously added to Sonarr.

I’m new to Sonarr, not sure what to do here. Searching around it seems to be related to TVdb, but I’m not familiar enough with Sonarr to fully understand how TVdb is used by Sonarr and how to tweak anything there.

Thanks!

-Mike

Previously The TVDB did not allow duplicate titles, now I’m not sure. I’ve asked them in a ticket to clarify whether it’s allowed now or not, if it’s not allowed they’ll need to edit the series to fix the title (since it’s locked), if not we’ll need to add an override for the slug.

For now you’ll only be able to add one of those series.

Understood. Thank you!
