Automated Disk Scan?

Description of issue:
I don’t have Sonarr managing my downloaded media, as a result it sometimes downloads a show twice before it scans the disk to see I already have it.

Is there anyway to have Sonarr detect a folder change like Plex or to change the frequency it scans?

Is there a better option that I am unaware of?

You can use the API to tell Sonarr to rescan the series folder: https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/wiki/Command#rescanseries

This gave me the idea to have Deluge trigger a rescan of a series once a torrent finishes using the exeute plugin. I’m not sure how Deluge would know the seriesId to specify, though. Anyone doing something like this?
