Hi all,
on my setup some series has Alternate Titles, some others not.
Please see following titles:
Based on thetvdb, both has Alternate Titles.
This is very crucial for me, because of having sonarr aware of Alternate Titles let’s make indexers able to find also for torrent name on translated title name.
Anyone can help me to identify this behavoir or necessary steps to performs debugs if needed?

Alternate names do not come from TheTVDB, more information for this is in the FAQ
Damn, finally i got the answer that i looking for days
So aliases are based on a elemantary private DB made by user on a doc sheet!
Probably already discussed, any plan to add a field on series to help sonarr to search torrent with custom aliases ?
For example i add a series named “Thank You”, i need in the spanish ones… the only torrent available is “Gracias”, so sonarr is unable to catch it… i can help sonar manually by adding the Alias field… this will not effect worldwide “Please remember that all aliases must be searched by all Sonarr users for every episode/season search, which can dramatically increase search times and API hits”
Asked many times and answered by the devs, that’s not going to happen. Main reason is that once the alias is approved/added via the sheet, all users with this series can benefit from it, versus all individual users having to maintain aliases in their local sonarr instance.
