Description of issue:

I am trying to add nzbfinder.ws as an indexer but I have the free account so I am over the 100 API hits limit for today. I would like to add the indexer anyway, but it will not save because of the error. So what if I’m over the limit today? Why can’t I still add the indexer? Is there a way to add this in a configuration file?

Thanks.

That’s not the Sonarr version that’s the version of the Synology package, the version can be found in System: Status or in the footer in the Sonarr UI.

Sonarr will prevent adding indexers that it is not able to connect to and validate the configuration, this is to prevent trying to add indexers that aren’t supported for various reasons. You can add the indexer in a disabled state (RSS and Search disabled), but you won’t be able to use it in Sonarr until it validates it properly once your API usage is allowed again.

Keep in mind with a 100 request limit, Sonarr will use 96 API hits a day with it’s default settings (every 15 minutes for 24 hours), you could disable RSS for that indexer and use it for searching or vice versa, but a mix of both won’t cover you for the whole day in most scenarios.

Thanks for that info. (Version is 2.0.0.3357 - I just installed and noticed there is an update)

I just wanted to add that indexer so that I didn’t forget.

Is there a way to setup searches so that certain indexers are prioritized over others? I don’t want to use my IPtorrents account or that limited nzbnab account if it’s not necessary.

Thanks again!

You can prioritize usenet over torrents or vice versa, but not down to the indexer level at this time.

Sorry if it’s obvious, but how do I prioritize usenet over torrents? Thanks again!

Usenet is preferred over Torrents by default, you can see that in Delay Profiles. Keep in mind, quality will win over protocol example: if a torrent is available in Bluray 1080p and Usenet only has DVD it will grab the bluray torrent.
