Ability to refine foreign searches

Big Thanks for your work on nzbdrone. It looks very very nice, does really fast searches and the ability to do manual searches leaves sickbeard far far behind.

The only thing i´m missing is the ability to refin the filters for foreign searches. It would be great to have a black/white list to automatically search the right content. German Posts with good quality is often tagged with “Videomann” without “ger” or “german” but nzbdrone ignores all those Posts as they seem to be not in german.
It would also be nice to blacklist “subbed” to prevent nzbdrone from downloading german subbed content.

Maybe this Problem also concerns to other languages than german so more than only the 85 million germans would love this feature :slight_smile:

drone uses the language in the release name to determine the language, while I understand the issue I’m not sure if we’ll have support for customizing the words that determine the language, but I have added it to Trello: https://trello.com/c/dND8qNXc/831-allow-users-to-chose-which-words-are-used-to-detect-a-certain-language

You can blacklist using “Release Restrictions” on the indexers settings page (with advanced options shown).

Thank you for the fast response. Sickbeard also lacks in the ability to refine search patterns but theyhardcoded videomann to watch for german stuff. If it is to difficult to implement a whitelist it would be also great to set videomann synonymously to german. This should met most cases where no german releases can be found. But from time to time it might be necessary to implement other synonyms.

I´m going to win some people to vote at trello :wink:
