YouTube Channels as indexer

Some youtube channels actually have episodes and are listed in thetvdb. For example

The Great War (2014) https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGreatWar

https://www.thetvdb.com/index.php?tab=series&id=286334

It would be nice if we could integrate the youtube RSS feed as a way to grab new episodes.

Here is the RSS feed for The Great War. https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCUcyEsEjhPEDf69RRVhRh4A

So many channels any more are doing episodes and having them show up automatically would be great.

If I correctly understood your request I don’t think the issue is in the RSS integration.
I believe the problem here is that the RSS feed links to a video, which is not downloadable by the software I know for Usenet or Torrent (NZBGet, Sabnzbd, rTorrent, Transmission or Deluge).
You’d need another downloader (e.g. youtube-dl) to actually get the video and limit it to YouTube releases only.

Yes this is true, I wonder if it couldn’t have jdownloader2 or youtub-dl added as a downloader option. I know I’m not a developer so I don’t know how much work that would entail. I’m just hoping
