As I’m sure many other have as well, I added X-Files to my shows list for S10. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be able to find episodes of S10, even though they’re posted. I’m guessing it’s because the posts use xfiles instead of x-files.
It doesn’t find anything for me. I’m only using Usenet indexers. Specifically, I use NZB.SU, Usenet-Crawler and Wombles. I can find the show if I manually log in to the indexers and search. Sonarr doesn’t find them for some reason. Not sure what log information to send to help track down the issue. I have Sonarr installed on my Synology NAS.
Wombles won’t give you anything on a manual search inside Sonarr, but .su and U-C should both give results. I get 9 from each of those… Until someone else comes along with any better ideas, I’d suggest restarting things, and then providing the logs of doing the manual search.
Sorry, I confused manual and automatic search. It’s the automatic search that doesn’t find the episode.

If I do a manual search, it returns a ton of X-Files episodes from multiple season, including several copies of S10E01.
Okay, look at the exclamation mark indicator on the S10E01 episodes from the manual search. What is the reason Sonarr is giving for rejecting them?
It simply says “Episode does not match”.
An example of one that doesn’t match is “The X-Files S10E01 720p HDTV x264”.
Interestingly, it was able to find episode 2 without any issue. It was just episode 1 it couldn’t find on its own.
both episodes with SDTV were found correctly on me
the web-dl where also found without any issues here
