Windows doesn't allow filenames that start with "Con"

Just a minor bug (?) report. It turns out Microsoft Windows does not allow filenames that start with the word “Con.”, as in “Con.Air” or “Con.Man”. So Sonarr was unable to import episodes of Con Man because when it tried to rename the file, the filename “Con.Man” wasn’t allowed.

Screenshot of the log below. The only solution I can imagine is for tv shows that start with the word “Con” (are there any others?!), force it to use an underscore instead of a period.

In my case, I’m just manually putting the files into the correct folder and hitting the “Rescan” button. Sonarr still recognizes them with an underscore (Con_Man), it just won’t automatically import/rename them.

awesome finding! i new about LPT1 and stuff but CON i guess is because of copy con as it means console

Aparently these filenames are reserved by windows:
CON, PRN, AUX, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, LPT9, CLOCK$, A: through Z:

isn’t this only an issue with con. not con

Yes, only with Con. (Con with a period after it). So any TV show or movie that starts with the word Con is affected.
