Will not use given folders

Using the Latest version, I try to add a “existing folder” it will say it is already used,
The only way i found to make it work is to make a sub folder and move my shows down there.
Ext: a:\media\tv\some_show does not work, i have to do this: a:\media\tv\some_show\some_show then sonarr will work…

the below is the error it gives when trying to add a folder that exists.

“Path is already configured as a root folder”

You have set a:\media\tv\some_show\ as a rooth path. You should have set a:\media\tv\ as the root path, then sonarr will create the series folder itself.

Thanks for the reply, what i found to work is to avoid mapped drives and use the //server/.
now it works

I had tried it already as you stated but it would not work for me.
