Hi Guys,
New NZBDrone user here, essentially I’m migrating away from Sickbeard and I queued up a 12 episode series. The series downloaded as a Single NZB (4.5GB Download) and finished within a few minutes. However, upon looking in NZBDrone I could see only four episodes had populated. I then replicated this behaviour with the second season of the show and with other shows.
I searched the forums and found people recommending enabling functions such as the Folder Rename is append _Unpack to the folder name, this was already enabled and I confirmed this behaviour is occurring as expected.
To further test this I added the relevant NZBs again but changed the Category as so it downloaded to an alternative directory that the DroneFactory wasn’t looking in, all episodes were present upon completion and unpack. I then moved the folders into the DroneFactory directory and it moved over to the relevant files to the specified network drive/folder as you’d expect without any missing episodes.
As such, my theory on what is happening is as follows:
NZBDrone passes NZB to SabNZBd and it begins downloading in the ‘TV’ category
When the download completes it is moved into the Downloaded Directory with a _Unpack addition to the folder
NZBDrone detects this and begins moving files over as they unpack
When it believes it has finished copying all content over it deletes any remaining files despite SAB still unpacking the files
So, is it possible that NZBDrone is ignoring the _Unpack addition to the Folder containing these files?
My Setup is as follows:
Download Server running on Windows Server 2008 R2 /w SAB, NZBDrone, CouchPotato
Storage Server running on Unraid (6TB of Storage)
Download Server connects to Storage Server via SAMBA based Network Share (Drive Map)
As I said, I’m new to NZBDrone so I’m not really sure where to look from a diagnostics point of view, logs etc.
Thanks,
