When does Sonarr download stuff from the wanted list?

I’m using the latest version of Sonarr on OSX. Everything seems to work ok but the thing is I have a 10+ things on the wanted list. And Sonarr is not automatically downloading them. If I click the checkbox on the left of the wanted list and manually press “search selected” it will work. I’ve tried it for one episode. But why doesn’t it automatically search for these things?

Does it have to wait for multiple days before it tries to get stuff on the wanted list?

It only downloads automatically if it’s available on one of the configured RSS feeds.
So for stuff older then a day, you’ll need to a search.
