Remote access works fine outside of my network as long as I use my external IP. To use it while I’m home connected to my wifi I have to use the local IP. This happened since I got a new modem from comcast. Before I was able to use my local ip on both my network and outside of it. Switching back and forth is a pain so I would like to try and get it to only use my internal ip like it did before. This same thing happens with CP and NZBGet. Any help would be appreciated Thanks.
Chris, if you are outside your network you will have to use you external IP to get back in your own network. I imagine you have port forward set up on your router for it to actually work.
I managed to get reverse proxy working using Nginx and Duckdns. See this thread on Reddit I posted for help - https://www.reddit.com/r/usenet/comments/2vopfj/reverse_proxy_nginx_windows/
Essentially xyz.duckdns.com/sonarr gets to sonarr frontend with password request. This way you don’t have to mess around with changing IPs. I also use the NZB360 where local and remote is setup for ease of use.
