When i added Chicago P.D. as a serie in Drone i noticed NzbDrone creates a strange folder name for it.
It looks like it can’t handle the dot at the end of the show name properly?
The folder name created doesn’t even come close to the original title, you can’t make anything of it.
Processing etc does work though.
Whats the folder name it created? The period at the end should have no bearing on how the folder is created.
Which version of drone?
Which OS?
Most recent dev version on synology (linux)
I have it for more then a month now. Changing folder name in drone without dots obviously solves it

Version = 2.0.0.1651
Foldername created for Chicago P.D. = CKRTFK~H
I’ve encountered the same thing when accessing a Linux NAS folder via Windows where there are characters Windows can’t handle. SAB used to miss sanitizing the colon for a while, but now it’s been fixed in their latest version.
Weird that a period would muck things up, though.
I’m sure you’ve told me before, but what OS is drone running on?
EDIT: can’t repro this on Windows and there really shouldn’t be anything that could even cause this, especially since drone would just use the series title (it doesn’t contain any illegal characters).
It’s running on Synology DSM5 (Linux) using Mono.
Maybe it’s a combination from nzbdrone and mono that it does this.
If it happens again i know were to look for so for me it isn’t such a big deal.
