Is there a screen somewhere with a overall list of all the Series and what they Delay profiles are set to?

Not at the moment, we need to figure out how to display how things are tagged and linked together.

I would think it would be easiest to display tags on the ‘Home’ series screen, and also on the detailed series screen.

It would then be up to the user to give tags they can read.

Something like this:

They’re already displayed on series details, in the series lists its more difficult because overview is the only one with the space to show them without drastically changing the interface.

It also doesn’t show what its linked to, which would be helpful (though tricky since they can link to multiple things).

I haven’t much set up tags yet (although I like the idea) so I haven’t seen it in play.

I would just try to display the name of the tag that is applied to a show. Let the user use tags that make sense to him/her. I wouldn’t think that would too difficult.

EDIT: Would be nice if the tag was a clickable link to go in and see/edit the tag itself.

The delay ones came over in the migration (the alternative was a breaking change that removed all delays), they are user created and the text is somewhat customizable (limit character set).

Not following what you mean. I could have a valid reason to have more than 1-2 tags and then the UI would be completely broken (poster view for sure and likely table view).

So you display on the web page all the tags (as name only, not what they do). How does this break the UI?

There seems to be plenty of space.

I think we are talking about things very differently and haven’t found a common point yet.

I’m not advocating we display what they do on the series list, I’m saying in your screenshot there is a lot of space, but in other views there isn’t:

On table view there is some space that could be used (the series title in this case shows a lot of white space, but other series have much longer titles, so we can’t count that as usable space).

Ok. I see the issue now.

Hmmm . . . For poster, just extend the bottom as needed. Not sure what to do for table.

Now, if that’s easy or not, I don’t know.

That would look pretty awful I think, would take away from the clean look and pile in a bunch of information and stretch some longer than others. Not too worried about that view since its meant to be pretty basic, but table is pretty important.

We’ll see what we can do.

I agree the table is going to be tough.

Mouse over info maybe?
