uTorrent not deleting torrents

Sonarr version 2.0.0.5322

Windows Server 2016

I just did a fresh installation as I had to migrate to a newer machine, the account I am using has local admin on the server. The download client options are set to “remove” completed download handing and to remove failed download handling, seeding is set to zero in uTorrent.

Looks like there are multiple instances of Sonarr running. Is the Sonarr Windows service installed and running? That’d override you running it as your user.

Hi Markus,

So I killed the Windows service and run the server now from the link that is on my desktop. I restarted the server to make sure the service wasn’t ghost running. I don’t see any error in the logs, however my torrents are not being removed. I will post the new logs once I am back from the clients I am being dispatched to.

Hi Markus,

That took longer… Can you give me some idea what I need to look for in the log? There a lot of other tasks meshed in with the torrents that downloaded and are still in my utorrent. Either the error or something before the line that is supposed to be removing the torrents?

If the torrents are seeding they’re not going to be deleted when they are imported, so are they seeding?

Trace logs will give the most info an you can see during import that Sonarr will move the file, not copy or hardlink, this is in the FAQ.

If later the torrent reaches the seeding goal and is stopped then Sonarr will log Removing download from when it’s being removed.
