Updating Plex Libraries

Currently I have two separate TV show libraries in Plex, one that I have for only completed seasons for a TV show and a second library just for the most current and ongoing season for a TV show. The reason I have it set up this way is it takes Plex around 2 hours to update my completed seasons TV show library which I only do a few times a year and about minute to update the ongoing seasons TV show library which is updated multiple times a week.

I would like to have Sonarr update my Plex library when it finishes downloading a new episode for a TV show but I would only like it to update my second library but when I turn on the option to update my library it is updating both of my libraries. Is there a way to do this in Sonarr?

Sonarr will only update the one series that was updated as long as Plex is configured correctly, which requires Run a partial scan when changes are detected in PMS’s Library settings to be enabled and Plex server needs to be a recent release (0.9.12.5 and higher I believe).

The way you have your libraries setup is a neat idea. None of my show library’s are quite this size, but this is something to keep in mind for the future. Thank you for explaining your setup.
