Description of issue:
My Synology Diskstation I recently had Sonarr queue a bunch of tv downloads then the application was turned off (not sure how it was shut down, may have been a restart issue) and the downloads completed when the software was not running, so there was a bunch of downloads that had not been processed.
When I discovered that Sonarr was not running I started it up again and i think it only processed 5 of the downloads, so I then set it to use drone factory to process the downloads which it managed to do about 5 more, after leaving it for a day that was all it processed. I turned drone factory off and then tried triggering the processing in Sonarr with the menu buttons but nothing seems to be happening, there is still a 35+ that havent been processed.
Any clue why the downloads are not getting processed, it has been running find for over a year until now?

Do the downloads that have not been processed show in Sonarr’s Activity: Queue?

If so, hover over the status icon on the left to see why they aren’t importing. If not, that’s the issue, Sonarr is not seeing them for some reason (whether that’s because there are too many things in history, though that should be more than 5 (assuming it’s something Sonarr can request more for).

Instead of using Drone Factory you can use Manual Import from Wanted: Missing.

I had only turned on Drone factory briefly to see if I could force an import of the rest of the files which only helped slightly, it is no longer turned on.

The unimported videos from the completed downloads folder are not showing in the activity queue/history/blacklist at all.

I am trying to fix the problem with the automatic importing so I don’t have to manually import everything, was there any information revealed in the logs why this was happening?

If there weren’t there then Sonarr didn’t know they existed, but whether that’s because you already imported them or it’s because Sonarr didn’t get them from the download client I don’t know now.

I realize that, all I’m saying is Manual Import is a better alternative than Drone Factory for that scenario.

The logs don’t appear to be debug logs, but I see a bunch of failures to import:

18-1-5 20:42:14.1|Warn|ImportApprovedEpisodes|Couldn't import episode /volume1/Media/Downloads/Completed/TV/The.Orville.S01E10.WEB.x264-TBS-xpost/c7b48e63f84c415aa7c5b832a4220e82.mkv

[v2.0.0.5085] System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "/volume1/video/TV/The Orville/Season 1" is denied.

Sonarr couldn’t import the file because it couldn’t access the season folder.

I have tried to manual import and that did not work.

Drone Factory was just me testing to see if other methods worked, it was disabled pretty much right away after it also failed to import.

To test whether it would import properly I deleted downloads from the unprocessed downloads folder and got the files to download again and they still were not processed after re-downloading.

So far signs point to the access denied issue as being the culprit for not importing some of the episodes properly.
