Mono Version 4.2.3
OS: Ubuntu 16.10 ?
Description of issue:
Sonarr has the series in the list, descriptions, file names, etc. but does not send any files to the download software nor allows for manual downloads. I checked TVDB, despite being a new show, it’s all there. Any suggestions on how to get Sonarr to recognize the series?
format of the show seems proper;
show.name.S01E01.HDTV.x264-releasegroup
I added Survivor (nz) to sonarr and that did the trick. data is a bit screwy, but the files can be manually pulled. I’ll post the issue on tvdb, anyway.
Didn’t actually know that myself. but there you have it. However, I don’t know what tvdb wants the title to be. So maybe mention that, so they can decide.
On August 1, it pulled the 7/31 episode:
VICE.News.Tonight.2017.07.31.1080p.AMZN.WEB-DL.DD+2.0.H.264-monkee
On August 2, it did not pull the 8/1 episode:
VICE.News.Tonight.2017.08.01.1080p.AMZN.WEB-DL.DD+2.0.H.264-monkee
Both releases now appear as “Unknown Series” in manual search with no option to download, even though it automatically got the 7/31 episode on August 1.
Someone requested https://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=279909 to be mapped to VICE News Tonight which messed up anyone getting the series with the same name, I’ve removed the mapping so it should be good the next time the series is refreshed.
I also have a problem with Vice News Tonight like ChesterJazzMan but not the same. Sonarr actually can find the episodes, when searching manually but the problem is it doesn’t copy the show to the folder it is supposed to be. I have to select the season and the episode manually every time.
