Unknown Series Issue - alternative to submitting request?

Version Sonarr Ver. 2.0.0.4753
Running on QNAP NAS model TS-253A

I read the FAQs and am not sure if I’m on the right track to a solution, if there is a solution at all. Kingdom is a show that started in 2014. I used Sonarr all of last year 2016 to download episodes automatically with no issue. This season the episodes say the series is unknown. It doesn’t have brackets or weird characters in the title.

I’ve read other articles here bout how parsing causes absolute values as the reason, but the title for this episode is:

Kingdom.S03E02.720p.HDTV.x264-BiA (title at the top for the series is is Kingdom (2014) - 3x02 - Ritual)

Is it that the title at the top has the year and the episode title doesn’t? If so, how can I resolve this, other than filling out the Sonarr scene naming exception form? Is there a tweak I can make?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

The result is rejected because it’s for the wrong series, that release is from the original series Kingdom from 2007 (the age should be a quite old), unless the same release group is releasing the the 2014 series as well.

I see a scene mapping was added for Kingdom that is filtered to match season 1 episode 1 of the 2014 series when the name matches the regex pattern: (?i)^Kingdom\\.S01E01. It looks like there was one release from a scene group for that episode, so it makes sense the alias is there, but it will give erroneous results in the search.

I didn’t even catch that! Did I do the scene mapping request correctly, or did I even need to at all? What can be done to ensure when the correct Kingdom that is currently airing has the episodes download? Or is it just that the indexers don’t have it and I have to wait?

As long as your indexers have the releases it should work as-is for the Kingdom 2014 releases.

The mapping was correctly filled in though, not valid for the situation.
