Understanding Scene rename process

Sonarr version (exact version): 2.0.0.5223
Mono version (if Sonarr is not running on Windows):
OS: windows 10

Description of issue: I am having an issue with a show. I go to the scene rename doc and see that the show has already been listed and says “added” . I have refreshed the show on my sonarr but it still rejects the episode as “unknown series”. I am sure that i am missing something but i have not been able to figure it out. Any ideas?

Which series?
Does the alias show at the top of the series details page (or when hovering over an episode number)?

The series is Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours To Hell And Back which the scene name does not have the ’ in Ramsay’s and pardon my ignorance here but i do not see anything at the top of the series detail page or nothing when i am hovering over a episode.

It’ll show up there when it’s pulled in, working for me, if it’s not showing for you we’ll need debug logs of a series refresh.

Ah nope that is not on mine. here is the debug log. I was not sure where to start and end it. So its the whole log

https://paste.ee/e/F56gQ

So i deleted the show and then re-added it and now it shows the alternate name below like in your picture. I also noticed that it when I readded it . It went from hell AND back to hell & back.

Ahh, you managed to add a duplicate that was removed, Sonarr would have been logging a warning or an error that the series information couldn’t be found during the refresh (I’d check the logs, but paste.ee is throwing errors back at me).
